One inbox for everything people say

The Inbox tab gathers comments, reviews, mentions and messages from every account you have connected into one list, and you reply from there. Six filters across the top sort it, and the one that matters is Reply: everything still waiting on you.

What lands in it?

Whatever the accounts you have connected send you. The header tells you how many are unread and across how many apps, so you know at a glance whether it is one noisy platform or a genuinely busy morning.

Which accounts feed it is up to you. See connecting your accounts.

What are the six filters?

FilterWhat it shows
AllEverything, newest first.
UnreadAnything you have not opened.
ReplyAnything still waiting on an answer from you. This is the working list.
TodayWhat has come in today.
SnoozedThings you have put off, so they are out of the way but not lost.
DoneDealt with.

There is a search box too, for finding a customer or a message by name.

How do I answer something?

Tap the conversation and reply in the box. It goes out through the account it arrived on, so the customer sees a reply where they wrote, not a message from somewhere else.

Why might something be missing?

If one of your connected accounts could not sync, the inbox tells you: Some connected accounts couldn't sync just now. Pull to refresh. It says so rather than showing you a shorter list and letting you think that was all of it.

The usual cause is a connection that has expired. Connecting your accounts covers why that happens and how to fix it, and when something goes wrong covers reading the message you get.

Will Soclo answer for me?

Only if you switch that on, and there are hard limits on it even then — complaints, money, promises and anybody asking for a person always come to you. Automatic replies is the guide for that, and it is worth reading before switching anything on.

If you connect an AI through Soclo MCP and tick the inbox permission, it can read your messages and draft an answer — but it only sends after you have confirmed the exact words. That is not a setting; it is how it works.

Where to go next

Automatic replies for handing over the repetitive ones. Orders & customers for enquiries that came through your website rather than a social account.

Common questions

What arrives in the Soclo inbox?

Comments, reviews, mentions and messages from the accounts you have connected, gathered into one list with the number of unread items and how many apps they came from.

What are the filters at the top?

All, Unread, Reply, Today, Snoozed and Done. Reply is the one to live in: it is everything still waiting on an answer from you.

Does Soclo reply for me?

Not unless you have switched that on, and even then the strict rules in the automatic replies guide apply. By default every reply is one you wrote and sent.

Why is something missing?

If a connected account could not sync, the inbox says so at the top and asks you to pull to refresh, rather than quietly showing you a short list. A dropped connection is the usual cause.

Can my assistant read the inbox through MCP?

Yes, if you tick that permission. It can read messages and draft an answer, but it only sends after you have confirmed the exact words.

What is Snoozed for?

Things you have decided not to deal with yet. They leave the main list and come back, which is better than leaving them unread as a reminder.
