Delete your account & data

This page explains how to permanently delete your Soclo account and all of the personal data we hold about you. You can do it yourself inside the app, or request it by email if you no longer have the app installed — you do not need to reinstall the app to delete your data.

Delete your account from inside the app

The fastest way is in the app:

• Open Settings → Privacy → Delete my account.
• Type DELETE to confirm.
• Your account and all server-side data are removed immediately.

This permanently removes your business and brand profile, your connected-account access tokens, your content (posts, captions, images, videos, schedules, and replies), your analytics, and your settings. Any connected social accounts — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business and others — are disconnected and their stored tokens are deleted, so Soclo can no longer act on your behalf.

Delete your account without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email privacy@soclo.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and action it promptly — within 30 days at the latest, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted, and what we keep

We delete or anonymise your personal data across our live systems as soon as a deletion request is verified. Copies held in our encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. We retain only the limited records we are legally required to keep — for example accounting and tax records, or information needed to prevent fraud and abuse — as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Deleting your account is how you exercise your right to erasure under the UK GDPR. You also have the right to access, correct, or export your data before deleting it — see the Privacy Policy for how. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
